Wind-Solar-Battery Hybridization Is Now a Thing

The Associated Press on 9/28/2022 published a report by writer Gillian Flaccus: “Tiny Oregon town hosts 1st wind-solar-battery ‘hybrid’ plant.” According to the article, the plant is capable of storing up to 120 megawatt-hours of wind- and solar-generated power. Flaccus writes:

“On-site battery storage isn’t new, and interest in solar-plus-battery projects in particular has soared in the U.S. in recent years due to robust tax credits and incentives and the falling price of batteries.”
