Congregations Acting for Justice and Empowerment
I’ve always been passionate about social justice. CAJE allows me to feed that passion while serving my faith. I’m proud to be a part of such positive change in our community.

Who is CAJE?

We’re one group, made up of many faiths, working to seek justice for all . CAJE identifies, researches and presents solutions for some of our community’s biggest issues—affordable housing, lack of adequate services, substance abuse—and then empowers others to implement our work. We’re committed to seeing each CAJE initiative through to implementation.

Our Impact

CAJE is making a difference in Vanderburgh, Posey and Warrick counties. In the past, we successfully fought for broad implementation of a NARCAN program to reduce our growing number of opioid-related deaths. Today, we’re fighting for more affordable housing in each county and for greater access to the highly specialized care needed for kids with autism and its co-occurring disorders. And later this year, we’ll celebrate the opening of a new crisis care center that will provide emergency treatment for those with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
