The issue is affordable housing for low-income families in Evansville. Specifically, families who are “working poor,” i.e., those whose incomes do not cover the basics for human well-being. The problem in Evansville is big and only getting bigger as more families struggle to just get by. So, we ask our city leaders: Will you put the resources at your disposal to work on this critical, fundamental need in our community? Now is the time to act!
